Job Title: Network Security Team Lead

Location: Brussels, Belgium (1 day per week on-site)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Team Lead to join one of our top clients. This role involves leading the network security team, ensuring the security of the organization’s network infrastructure, and driving security best practices across the enterprise. The position requires presence in Brussels one day per week, with the remainder of the work remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the network security team.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures.
• Monitor and respond to network security incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and other stakeholders to enforce security policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis, recommending remediation strategies.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to network security.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud security.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and incident response processes.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and onsite in Brussels one day per week.
